Grant is an incredible barber. His calm demeanor and the ease with which we make conversation, coupled with his attention to detail make it easy for me to relax while I'm getting cut. That's no small feat, as my OCD and anxiety make the inherently vulnerable position of getting a haircut borderline unbearable in most situations. I know I don't need to worry. Grant won't steer me wrong.

I enjoy talking to Armand as well, esp since we're both hip-hop heads. Fog City Social Club is a great spot, and I couldn't recommend it more. My only complaint is that Grant won't gently kiss me on the neck when he's done, but maybe I just need to be more direct in asking for that service.
